Welcome to Skinwalker Ranch

What is Skinwalker Ranch?

Skinwalker Ranch is a 512-acre property in northeastern Utah that has become infamous for its long history of strange and unexplained phenomena. Reports from the ranch include UFO sightings, glowing orbs, mysterious creatures, cattle mutilations, and unusual electromagnetic activity. Over the years, the ranch has been studied by scientists, investigated by paranormal researchers, featured in television shows, all attempting to uncover the truth behind its mysteries.

The name “Skinwalker Ranch” comes from Native American legends about skinwalkers, shape-shifting witches or shamans in Navajo tradition. According to the lore, skinwalkers have the ability to transform into animals, usually wolves or coyotes, and use their powers for evil. These stories have been passed down for generations and are regarded with fear and respect in Native culture.

Because of the frequent reports of wolf-like creatures and other strange beings on the property, locals began associating the ranch with the skinwalker legends. Over time, the name “Skinwalker Ranch” stuck, cementing both its eerie reputation and the Native folklore that surrounds the area.
